Big Black

DESCRIPTION

Black Swan’s Big Black is a black, soft-set non-toxic pipe joint compound. Big Black is designed to fill cracks and voids in imperfect threads to help ensure leak-free and pressure tight joints. Big Black also acts as a lubricant which permits low torque make-up and easy disassembly without stripping threads. Big Black can be used on plastic and metal pipe.

APPLICATIONS

Black Swan’s Big Black is recommended for use on ABS, PVC, CPVC, FlowGuard Gold® CPVC, BlazeMaster® CPVC, fiberglass, nylon, polypropylene, celcon, cycolac, polybutylene, delrin, polyethylene, zytel and all metals.

INGREDIENTS

2-Butoxyethanol (CAS #111-76-2), Oxidized Castor Oil, (CAS #68178-84-8), Calcium Carbonate (CAS #1317-65-3), Silicone Dioxide Chemically prepared (CAS #112945-52-2).

DIRECTIONS

1. Make sure threads are made with a good die.
2. Clean surface to which the compound is to be applied of dirt, oil, moisture, etc.
3. Stir before using. Do not dilute.
4. Apply compound to male threads with brush or applicator. Brush well into threads to ensure leak-free joints. Cover threads completely.
5. Assemble joints in usual manner.

FIRST AID:
Inhalation: Move into fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen and call physician.
Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water.
Eyes: Flush with water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
Ingestion: Give 1 or 2 glasses of water. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Contact physician immediately.

STORAGE:
Keep container closed and upright when not in use. Do not store near heat, sparks or open flame.

DISPOSAL:
Dispose of product or container in accordance with federal, state or local regulations.
